School’s out for Summer (and forever)

Photo of the Vancouver waterfront taken from the stanley park side of coal harbor.
Since my deviantart account has been getting more attention than my website I decided to do a little update here. I graduated from VFS just 2 weeks ago and it’s weird not having to go to class every day. You get into such a routine doing the same thing every day that when change comes it’s hard to switch. It’s also time for the real test to begin - getting a job in the industry. While there are many companies in Vancouver, there aren’t an overabundance of positions open for juniors, and the ones that are open are usually for artists or programmers. Luckily I have the support of my family so I’m not too worried yet, but this statement might be ironic if I wind up begging on the street in a month or so. We’ll see…
Photography wise things are returning to “normal”. I’m able to attend the weekly photoshoots that I missed so much, and it’s nice to hang out with the fighting dreamers team again even if i’m behind a camera the whole time. The group has become very popular on the internet, and are now #30 for most youtube director subscribers (it’s nearly 4000 now) and over 110,000 channel views. Nuts! It might be time to start helping with the videos they make since I do have the time… we’ll see. Anyway, as usual, check my deviantart page for my latest photo uploads.
Till next time~
