Alex Weatherston’s Photography Blog

This is a dual update, both for my website and for my DA account. I find it’s easier to write one entry for both places, as I’m finding my time is REALLY limited these days. I recently uploaded a new picture to my DA account - of my friend cosplaying as Sora on the beach at sunset. I’m really happy with the amazing flood of views the picture got, and so is she. I have been without my camera for almost a month now, and it’s getting a to be a bit of a hassle borrowing my fellow photog’s cameras. I know they’re kind and they don’t mind, but not working with my own gear is… weird to say the least. So much for Canon’s estimate of 15 days. Tomorrow I get to run around richmond to get to the depot to pick up my package from purolator.

School life progresses - slowly. 9 classes a week, most of which give an assignment every class, is quite taxing on me. I’ve had very little time to get out and take photos, but school takes priority over all. Things have been a bit slow lately, as my most energetic friend has moved to the states to persue education. I can only hope that the powers of Soviet Canuckistan draw her back to the motherland - cause what’s the fun in a town whos only form of entertainment is making cheeze?

This week was a bit of a break, as there was no extra work, however the coming weeks will be quite busy, so I will slip into another phase of non updates. I will however try to get a few more photos up before then.
